Aguadas - Caldas

With an altitude of 1783 meters and an average temperature of 19ºC, is it also known as “The pearl of Ingruma”, because of it location on the foot of Ingruma mountain, a monumental granite rock formation.

The Ingruma peak is home to the fiesta de Santa Cruz every year on the 3rd of May, when people climb the mountain praying.
The Carnival of Riosucio, or Carnival of the devil, hold on the first 6 days of January every two years (uneven years) since 1847 is also famous. It is one of the most important festivities in Caldas Department, and one of the most unique ones in Colombia.
